My church is going through a devotional. If I knew which one of the pastors wrote this, I would cite him. Some may say that this sounds limiting and demotivating, but I find it freeing.

It's neat to know so many people are going through the same devotional, small group discussion, and everything.
I think it's freeing in the sense that because of Chirst sin no longer owns us or enslaves us and so with Him how much more are we capable of! And still we were designed to be so much greater.
